Quick answers
- What is Riley Reid Redux?
- A Holodexxx PC VR experience: a second-generation photogrammetry scan of Riley Reid performs a motion-captured lap dance in a virtual club with music-driven lighting.
- What is the Riley Reid Sneak Peek?
- The free 2019 demo that came first, a shorter lap dance released before Holodexxx Home. Its uncensored version is on Premium and the developer's Patreon.

- Windows 10 with a GTX 1070, 16 GB of memory and a recent Intel i5, according to the listing. Treat it as a floor.
Our read, before we play it
A short, technically impressive dance with nothing else to do, from the studio that later built The Club around the same performer.
Worth it if
- You want to see a second-generation Holodexxx scan up close
- You have a PC VR setup or a Quest on Link
- A few minutes of performance is what you are after
Skip it if
- You expect interaction beyond watching: players say there is little
- Your PC is below a GTX 1070 and 16 GB of RAM
- You want it standalone on a Quest: it needs a PC

One dance, rebuilt
Redux is Holodexxx returning to the performer it first showed off. Riley Reid was scanned with photogrammetry, given what the studio calls a second-generation body rig with modelled movement for chest, hips and thighs, and set to dance to high-definition motion capture in a virtual club whose lighting follows the music. Facial animation is AI-generated. The description also mentions chatbot technology and asks the community for feedback, which tells you this was built as a step toward something larger. That something became Holodexxx: The Club.
What you get, and what you don't
You watch a performance. Players who expected the interaction of Holodexxx Home were disappointed; one wrote that the base game had led them to expect more. Install is plain: unzip, run the executable, and install Steam and SteamVR if they are missing. Quest owners stream it over Air Link, Link or Virtual Desktop.
The minimum spec is a recent Intel i5, 16 GB of RAM and a GTX 1070 on Windows 10, but treat that as a floor. One player measured around 45 frames per second on a Ryzen 7950X with an RTX 4090. Another found the dance ran with no sound at all.
The Sneak Peek
The free Riley Reid Sneak Peek came out in 2019 as a teaser for Holodexxx Home: a shorter lap dance to show the studio's visual fidelity, with the uncensored version on Premium and the developer's Patreon. It is worth knowing about mainly for its comment thread. Owners of an RTX 4090 laptop, an RTX 4080 desktop, an RTX 3070 and an RTX 3080 all report the same thing: the demo opens for a second and closes with no error. Most of those are on Windows 11; the one success story is an RTX 2060 on Windows 10. A helper on the thread suggested checking that SteamVR or the Oculus app is running first. No fix was confirmed; our Holodexxx launch-crash guide sets out what to try and where the trail goes cold.
Our read
More demo reel than game. If you have Premium and a strong PC, Redux is a few minutes of the most detailed dancing a scan could manage at the time. If you want something to do with that detail, play The Club.
What reviewers and players report
Around 45 frames per second on a Ryzen 7950X, RTX 4090 and 32 GB of DDR5.
— A player with an RTX 4090, 2023
One reports no audio while the game otherwise runs; another wanted more than a dance. Install tip from a regular: unzip the folder, run the .exe, and install Steam and SteamVR if needed.
— Players on VRPorn.com, 2022–2023
Several report the demo opening for a second and closing without an error on new hardware and Windows 11; one on an RTX 2060 with Windows 10 says it works.
