A comic you stand inside
RockHardVR calls House Call Succubus a fully animated VR comic, and the label is accurate. Where the Helping Hand games hand you control, this one tells a story: Darcie pays you a visit, the scenes play out with speech bubbles you can switch off, and a Repeat button loops the part you want. You choose first-person views and costume combinations; you do not drive the action with your hands the way the studio's other titles ask you to.
That makes it the right Darcie title for a different mood. Some evenings you want to play, some you want to be shown something.
Small tools that matter
The options are more thoughtful than they look. You can hide objects that block your view, hide the menu button, and switch off the speech bubbles once you know the story. Asked for up-and-down camera movement, the studio added an experimental Y-axis setting in the gear menu, with the honest note that it kind of works if you look straight ahead.
AR is listed for the Quest 2. RockHardVR warns that AR plus anti-aliasing can drop the resolution, and suggests 1.2x in the options for a sharper picture, a tip worth trying on any of its games that look soft.
