Quick answers

What does VRPorn Premium include from Braindance?
Eight Premium volumetric experiences, unlocked in the Braindance app after you create a Braindance account through the game page.
Does Braindance run on Quest 3 without a PC?
Yes. There is a standalone app for Quest 3, Quest 3S and Pico 4 Ultra with mixed reality and hand tracking.
I signed up but only see demo content. What now?
Several Premium members hit this. VRPorn.com's staff and Braindance both direct you to Braindance support by email; check your spam folder for their reply.
Is Braindance interactive?
Not in the game sense. You move freely around recorded performances, but the performers do not react to you.

Our read, before we play it

The most convincing sense of a real person in the room that adult VR offers today, delivered through an app that still makes you work for it.

Worth it if

  • You have a Quest 3, 3S or Pico 4 Ultra, or a PC with an RTX 2070 or better
  • Presence matters more to you than story or interaction
  • You use passthrough and like the idea of a performer standing in your actual room

Skip it if

  • You want performers who react to you: these are recordings
  • You have little patience for account linking and large downloads
  • You only get a demo after signing up and do not want to chase support

Not video, not a game

Ordinary VR video locks you to the spot where the camera stood. Braindance records performers volumetrically, with a rig the reviewer at Skarredghost counts at 165 cameras, and plays them back as Gaussian-splat video you can walk around. Lean in, step to the side, crouch: the person stays solid. That one property is the whole pitch, and on the evidence it delivers. The same review describes reading tattoo text and seeing skin wrinkles, and a depth that 180° and 360° footage cannot match.

It is not interactive in the game sense. The performers do not respond to you, and when you move they keep looking where the camera was, which the reviewer describes as looking into the void.

What Premium unlocks, and the catch in getting it

Through VRPorn.com, Premium members get eight Braindance experiences. Braindance sells its own subscription separately, which Skarredghost priced at €25 a month, €80 a year or €190 for lifetime access in April; the eight on Premium are a slice of that library, not the whole thing.

Getting them is where most complaints sit. The Download button sends you to the Braindance site, where you make an account, install the app and sign in. Several Premium members wrote that this left them with demo content only, and that support was slow. One spent around two hours on installation. Braindance answered that a season was missing from some libraries and would be added, and asked people to check their spam folder for support replies. We would budget an evening for setup rather than ten minutes. If you end up with the demo only, our Braindance Premium fix sets out who can unlock the rest and what to send them.

Hardware

The standalone app covers the Quest 3, Quest 3S and Pico 4 Ultra, with mixed reality and hand tracking. On a PC, the VRPorn.com page recommends an RTX 2070 or better, rules out the GTX 1080 and suggests an NVMe drive. The hands-on review found Quest Link from a PC gave the best result with passthrough, SteamVR worked without passthrough, and streaming on the standalone headset looked noticeably softer. Some downloads run to around 20 GB.

The artifacts

The technology is young and shows it. The review notes small artifacts in every recording, brush-stroke texture up close and trouble where two bodies nearly touch. Content is mostly one performer per scene, in clips of one to two minutes. Passthrough helps: in a black void the effect feels isolating, in your own room it feels like a visit.

Our read

If you own a Quest 3 and are curious what the next step after VR video looks like, the eight experiences on Premium are the cheapest way to find out. Go in expecting a striking demo of presence rather than a game, and expect to deal with account setup before you see it. To see where it sits among the standalone titles, check our list of Premium games by headset.

What reviewers and players report

  • Realism good enough to read tattoo text and see skin wrinkles, depth that beats 180° and 360° video, but small artifacts in every recording and visible softness up close.

    — Skarredghost, hands-on review, 30 Apr 2026

  • Each performance runs five to seven clips of one to two minutes; content feels repetitive, performers look past you when you move, and the desktop app forces you out of the headset to switch content.

    — Skarredghost, hands-on review, 30 Apr 2026

  • The most common complaint: signing up through the link unlocked only demo content, followed by slow answers from Braindance support. Braindance replied that one season was missing from some libraries and would be added.
