Quick answers

What is the difference between Deepthroat Simulator and the Quest Edition?
This is the PC VR version, run on a computer with a PC headset or a Quest on Link. The Quest Edition is a separate standalone build you sideload onto the headset.
Why don't I see the Patreon characters with Premium?
The developer says custom characters are Patreon-only. Premium includes the four built-in characters and lets you add your own VRoid models.
How do I add my own characters?
Copy VRoid .vrm files into the VRM folder in the install directory. Models must come from VRoid Studio 1.0 or later.
Which version is on Premium?
VRPorn.com lists version 1.641.

Our read, before we play it

The PC original of Squircle Games' simulator, with steady updates and a custom-character system that confuses Premium members.

Worth it if

  • You have a PC VR headset and want the version the studio started with
  • You want to bring your own VRoid characters
  • You prefer a developer who answers questions and posts changelogs

Skip it if

  • You expect the 50-plus Patreon characters: they are not part of Premium
  • You want to play on a Quest without a PC: get the Quest Edition
  • You want a broad game; this is one focused mechanic

The original

Before the Quest Edition there was this: Squircle Games' PC VR simulator, built around a single mechanic. You guide your partner's head with one hand and control how far things go; the character reacts audibly when you push too far or hold too long, a meter times the finale, clothing can come off, and two bonus scenes unlock as you play. It is narrow by design, and players who comment tend to praise the details, such as the saliva effects and voice acting.

Characters: built-in, yours, and Patreon's

This is where confusion starts. The game ships with four characters. You can add more by copying VRoid .vrm files into the VRM folder inside the install directory, as long as they were made with VRoid Studio 1.0 or later. And then there are the studio's own custom characters, more than 50 of them by the developer's count, with new ones every month.

Those are not included. The developer has said plainly that custom characters are Patreon-only. Two Premium members wrote that they had paid and found the extra characters locked; that is the reason. Premium gets you the game and the VRoid import, not the Patreon library.

A studio that ships

Squircle Games posts changelogs on the page. One update added a size slider, a new VR interface, a saliva system, better VRM compatibility, a recenter button and thumbstick repositioning. A later one added a new level, VRM1 support, better custom-model handling and smoother mouse control on the desktop. VRPorn.com lists version 1.641 for Premium.

Which version to play

If you have a PC, this one. It runs on PC VR headsets, and the developer says the Valve Index should be supported; Quest owners can play it over Link. If you only have a Quest, the Quest Edition is the standalone build you sideload instead, with its own trade-offs around updates, covered in our Quest Edition update fix.

Our read

A focused simulator from a responsive developer. Go in knowing that Premium covers the four built-in characters and your own VRoid models, not the Patreon set, and you will not be disappointed by the character list.
