Quick answers

What is Rising Up With Faye?
A hand-tracked WebXR game by RockHardVR. You meet Faye in a hotel lift and the scene moves to a hotel room. It streams from VRPorn.com.
Does it work on the Quest 3?
Yes. RockHardVR says every game in its VR Hand Revolution series has been patched for the Quest 3.
Why does it not respond to my first few movements?
The studio says it can take three to seven strokes for the game to calibrate to your hand.
Can I play with controllers?
Yes. Close your fist on the controller and move it as you would your hand, or shake the main controller to switch on controller hand mode.

Our read, before we play it

The game that introduced Faye, still worth starting with for the way it teaches the studio's hand controls.

Worth it if

  • You want to learn RockHardVR's stroke-and-gesture controls on a simple, short setup
  • Your headset is a Quest 3 and you want a title the studio has already patched for it
  • Your hand tracking is shaky: a controller can stand in for your hand

Skip it if

  • You want a long story: the lift and the hotel room are the whole map
  • You play on a Pico 4 and want hand tracking or AR
  • You expect current-generation visuals from a game first uploaded around 2020

Where Faye begins

Faye turns up in more RockHardVR titles than anyone except Darcie, and this is where she starts. The premise is compact: you share a hotel lift with her, she has heard about you from family and is in no mood to wait, and the encounter moves from the lift to her room. That is the whole map. What fills it is the studio's hand-driven system, here in one of its earliest forms.

Your hand is the controller

The action follows the motion of your tracked hand. RockHardVR warns that calibration takes between three and seven strokes, which explains why first-time players often think nothing is happening. Foreplay is touch-based, with grabbing and slapping, kissing and licking; positions change through Posture buttons in the menu; the finale is a hand gesture. A pair of sliders named Insertion Rate and Insertion Threshold set the pace and the point at which things move on.

If your tracking drops in poor light, there are two fallbacks. Close a fist on the controller and move it like a hand, or shake the main controller to switch into the controller hand mode the studio added in 2023. Auto mode exists for headsets without hand tracking, and an Oculus Go gets a laser pointer with grab and slap modes.

Old game, current patches

The files date from around 2020, and it shows in the art more than in the support. RockHardVR has patched the whole series for the Quest 3, with one note: the side-button menu behaves differently there, and if your controller starts acting up, turn off automatic switching between hands and controllers in the headset's settings. AR is on the start screen. On an original Quest, switching off the Elevator object in the costume menu buys back frame rate.

The page also lists customisation in the usual RockHardVR depth: colours for hair, skin, eyes and clothing, body sliders, a costume menu and a Hide Menu option for a clean view.

Our read

Rising Up With Faye is a short, early piece, and better for it as a first game. If you are new to RockHardVR, learn the stroke calibration and the Posture menu here before trying the bigger sets. If anything stays black after you press Stream, our RockHardVR fix covers the usual causes. Our RockHardVR starting guide explains the Posture buttons and calibration in more depth.

What reviewers and players report

  • All games in its VR Hand Revolution series are patched for the Quest 3; if the controller behaves erratically, switch off automatic switching between hands and controllers in the Quest settings.

    — RockHardVR, late 2025

  • Added AR on the start screen, anti-aliasing for the Quest 2 and a controller hand mode you activate by shaking the main controller.

    — RockHardVR, update notes, 2023

  • Glad the game is back on the site, and asking for the same foreplay mechanics in an office setting.
