A sitcom premise

Most adult VR takes itself seriously. Stuck! Fire Alarm Panic does not. You are working late with your boss, Faye Fox, when a fire alarm goes off during your break. You go to check on her and find her wedged in the window of the ladies' washroom. RockHardVR describes the plot as comedic, and players agree: the most common comment on the page is that it is funny.

It is a fully animated VR comic, the same format as Late Night Affair At The Office and the House Call Succubus titles. The studio recommends watching the plot through on the first run; after that, a Repeat button loops the scene you want and the speech bubbles can be switched off.

How you watch

You choose between third-person and first-person views and between several costume combinations. You can hide objects in the way and remove the overhead menu button. Customisation covers colours, body sliders and breast size and physics. Hand tracking is listed for the original Quest and the Quest 2, and an Oculus Go uses a laser pointer to grab.

AR arrived in a later update, labelled new on the page, along with anti-aliasing for the Quest 2. As with the studio's other comics, that update can make the picture look softer, and RockHardVR's advice is to set resolution to 1.2x.

Listed, and not listed

The Pico 4 is supported without hand tracking or AR. The Quest 3 is not named, although several other RockHardVR pages now list it. Our RockHardVR fix covers the launch problems the studio's games share. Someone asked in the comments whether it can be downloaded; the page offers only the stream.

What players say

Praise for the humour dominates: one player says it makes them laugh every time and calls it their favourite of the comics, another says it is underrated. The one practical complaint concerns the set: a player notes the washroom has a single closed toilet and little else.

Our read

If you are curious about RockHardVR's comic format, start here. It has the clearest premise of the comics, it is the only one written for laughs, and it gives Faye her biggest role outside Rising Up With Faye. How the comics differ from the hand-tracked games is explained in our RockHardVR guide.

What reviewers and players report

  • The comments are mostly about the humour: one player says it makes them laugh every time and is their favourite of the comics; others call the story funny and the scene immersive.

    — Players on VRPorn.com, 2023–2024

  • Asks for more objects in the washroom, which has a single closed toilet.

    — A player, 2023

  • AR and anti-aliasing added for the Quest 2; the image may look lower in resolution, and 1.2x in the options brings back sharpness.
